Abstract:Objective To observe treatment compliance of Armed Police patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and influencing factors. Methods Retrospective analysis was used. 125 hospitalized tuberculosis officers’ and soldiers’ compliance and therapeutic effect were analyzed. Results Of 125 tuberculosis officers and soldiers, 87 completd the treatment course, accounting for 69.6% of the total number, the main causes of substandard treatment included forgetting medication, medicine side effects, not timely supply of drugs and withdrawal on their own. Factors affecting the compliance of sick soldiers and officers included age, educational level and place of joining-up. Conclusions We should be aware of tuberculosis in officers and soldiers, enhance management of sick soldiers and officers to improve treatment compliance, and reduce the spread of tuberculosis in the army.
