Abstract:Objective To investrqate the effects of antibiotics use management on the hospital infection rates at the same time. Methods The changes in antibiotics utilization rates, use requency, specimen examination rates and infection rates of in hospitalized patients, at the same period were investigated. Statistical analysis was done after that. Results It showed marued increase in specimen examination rates significant downward trend in the utilization rate and marked decrease of frequency of antibiotrcs the use, in hospitalized patients in these two years, but the hospital infection rates did not change significantly at the same period. Conclusions Antimicrobial treatment has a good role in controlling the costs of medicines and promoting the rational drug use, but will not affect the anti-infection treatment and control clinically.
