Effect of motivational interviewing on change of smoking behavior in Chinese People’s Armed Police Forces officers and soldiers

摘要目的 探讨动机访谈在武警部队官兵吸烟行为改变中的应用效果。方法 将随机抽样选取的武警部队官兵126名随机分为两组,干预组和对照组各63名。对照组给予吸烟危害宣教及辅助戒烟,干预组在此基础上给予面对面动机访谈干预,于12周采用问卷调查方法评价两组对吸烟危害的知晓率、吸烟行为改变的认知率及戒烟率。结果 12周后干预组吸烟危害知晓率高于对照组,但两组间差异无统计学意义;与对照组比较,干预组的吸烟行为改变认知率明显升高(53.3% vs 87.3%,P<0.01);干预组戒烟率显著高于对照组,具有统计学差异(51.7% vs 26.7%,P<0.01)。结论 动机访谈有助于提高武警官兵对吸烟危害的认知和吸烟行为的改变。
Abstract:Objective To probe into the application and effect of motivational interview on the change of smoking behavior of the Armed Police Forces officers and soldiers. Methods 126 Armed Police Forces officers and soldiers were randomly divided into interventional group (n=63) and control group (n=63). The control group was given smoking harm propagamda and education, and was assisted to quit smoking. The interventional group was given motivational interview on the basis of the same in the control group. The effects were evaluated on awareness of smoking hazards, improved awareness of smoking behavior, and smoking quitting rate by questionnaire after 12 weeks. Results The awareness rate of diseases caused by smoking in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group after 12 weeks, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. Compared with the control group, the rates of awareness of smoking behavior and smoking quitting in the intervention group were higher; there were statistically significant difference between the two groups (53.3% vs 87.3%, 51.7% vs 26.7%,P<0.01). Conclusions MI can help the Armed Police Force officers and soldiers improve the awareness of smoking hazards and smoking behavior.
