Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of corrective training on reducing injury risk and improving exercise performance. Methods A total of 138 students from Grade 2020 of a college were recruited and randomly divided into experimental group with 30 students and control group with 108 students by random number table. During the experimental period, the two groups had the same training experience, including the training time, the number of training sessions and the training location. However, for the training content, the control group adopted physical training and the experimental group, adopted physical training and additional corrective training. Then, the influence of corrective training on sports injury and sports efficiency was analyzed. Results (1) Before the corrective training, the average total score of functional movement screen (FMS) in the experimental group was 13.8±1.69,and 17 students’ total scores were ≤ 14. After corrective training, the FMS score of the experimental group was 17.70±1.49,and only one student’s total score was ≤ 14. The FMS score of the experimental group was significantly increased after the corrective training,P<0.001.(2) Before the corrective training, the control group’s performance in curling body up (7.59±4.53) was better than that of the experimental group (5.63±4.78) ; there was no significant difference between the two groups in 3000 m running and 30 m×2 serpentine running. After the corrective training, there were no significant differences between these two groups in performance of curling body up, but the the results of the experimental in 3000 m running (724.30±34.15)s and 30m serpentine running (18.19±0.55)s were obviously better than those of the control group (734.71±41.66)s and (18.44±0.73)s respectively, P<0.05.(3) There were 2 new injuries in the experimental group (6.67%) and 28 new injuries in the control group (25.93%). The data of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05 ). Conclusions The FMS and the corrective training can effectively locate the weak points and lower the potential risks in cadets’ movement mode ,so as to reduce the risks of sports injuries and improve their sports performance.
