Abstract Objective To analyze CT manifestations of cerebral perfusion imaging of hemorrhagic moyamoya disease. Methods A retrospective analysis was made of the CT cerebral perfusion imaging data of 25 patients with hemorrhagic moyamoya disease, and the correlation between the bleeding site, the formation of collateral vessels and perfusion characteristics was explored. Results Three of the patients showed localized hyperperfusion in the left thalamic and frontal lobes, and 22 showed normal perfusion. Ten cases (40%) developed bleeding in the thalamus, eight cases (32%) in the ventricle and seven cases (28%) in subarachnoid. There was compensation of collateral vessels to different degrees in all the patients (100%). Conclusions Hemorrhagic moyamoya disease is characterized by normal perfusion or localized hyperperfusion, which is closely associated with the bleeding site and collateral vessel formation.
