Abstract:Objective To examine the expression & correlation of estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors in uterine sarcoma. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to examine the expression of estrogen receptors & progesterone receptors in uterine sarcoma. Their correlation was analyzed. Results There was significant difference in the positive rate of ERα protein between endometrial stromal sarcoma tissues, uterine leiomyosarcoma tissues and uterine carcinosarcoma tissues(P <0.01) on one hand and normal myometrium tissues on the other hand. The PRA、 PRB positive rate of endometrial stromal sarcoma tissues was considerably different ( P <0.05) from that of uterine leiomyosarcoma tissues and uterine carcinosarcoma tissues. Conclusion ERα, ERβ and PRA, PRB were all expressed in endometrial stromal sarcoma tissues, uterine leiomyosarcoma tissues, uterine carcinosarcoma tissues, and normal myometrium tissues. The expression of ERα is positively correlated with PRA and PRB in endometrial stromal sarcoma tissues.
