Abstract：Objective To study the efficacy of psychological nursing care on anxiety and depression in patients with lung cancer during treating with gamma knife. Methods 64 male patients with lung cancer receiving treatment of gamma knife were divided into intervention group and control group.The treatment of gamma knife and routine treatment were used in both groups.while psychological intenvention to applied in intervention group.All the patients were tested by self-rating depression scale(SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) before and after treatment of gamma knife and the impact of psychological nursing care on the moods of patients was analyzed. Results The scores of SDS and SAS were evidently lower in intervention group than those in control group after treatment of gamma knife (P＜0.05). Conclusions Psychological nursing care can markedly alleviate patients’ anxiety and depression and improve the quality of life in patients with lung cancer.
