Abstract:Objective To investigate the disease spectrum of in-hospital soldiers in the plateau region of Tibet and provide basis for prevention of disease in the altitude area. Methods The first discharge diagnosis of in-hospital soldiers from 2008 to 2011 were collected from the hospital case database and classified according to the ICD-10. Results The top six of the disease constituent ratio in order were digestive system, respiratory system, injury and poisoning, genitourinary, musculoskeletal and connective tissue, circulatory system. Common diseases were upper respiratory tract infection and gastroenteritis. Acute altitude disease was common in December. Conclusions We should understand the relationship between environment, season, training and disease and improve the prevention and treatment of diseases.
