Efficacy and safety of Lianhuaqingwen capsules in treatment of influenza

摘要目的 研究连花清瘟胶囊对不同中医证候季节性流感的治疗效果。方法 季节性流感793例,其中外感风热组451例,外感风寒组342例,分别随机分为连花清瘟胶囊治疗组与复方氨酚烷胺胶囊对照组,对比分析各组症状体征持续时间、不良反应发生情况。结果 (1)连花清瘟胶囊治疗组患者症状缓解较快、发热持续时间明显短于复方氨酚烷胺胶囊对照组[(2.1±0.9) d vs (3.3±1.2) d, P＜0.01)];(2)风热治疗组症状缓解较快,与对照组差异明显,风寒治疗组发热持续时间短于对照组[(2.2±1.0) d vs (3.3±1.4) d, P＜0.01)],但症状缓解程度与对照组相近,差异无统计学意义;(3)连花清瘟胶囊耐受性良好,不良反应主要为腹泻,发生率较低,且多为一过性。结论 连花清瘟胶囊治疗季节性流感疗效确切,尤其适用于外感风热患者,耐受性良好。
Abstract：Objective Lianhuaqingwen capsules has been used for treatment of influenza A(such as H1N1). To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Lianhuaqingwen(LHQW) for treatment of influenza. Methods This study was conducted during the influenza epdemic season from December 2010 to April 2014 in this hospital. 793 adults (451 wind-heat syndrome and 342 wind-cold syndrome) were enrolled into the study. All subjects were randomized into either the LHQW or AFWA group. The median duration of fever, alleviation of symptoms and adverse events were evaluated among four groups. Results The cumulative alleviation proportion in LHQW group was significantly higher than that in the AFWA group. The median duration of the fever was shorter in the LHQW group than in the AFWA group[(2.1±0.9) d vs( 3.3±1.2) d, P＜0.01]. In the wind-heat syndrome population, influenza-like symptoms were alleviatied more effiicently than in the wind-cold syndrome individuals. Adverse events were similar in both the LHQW group and the AFWA group. The main adverse events following LHQW were gastrointestinal symptoms, such as diarrhea. Conclusion LHQW is effective and well tolerated in treatment of influenza infection.
