Abstract:Objective To investigate the abnormal tympanomery in students of a civil aviation university. Methods Hearing screening by tympanomery was conducted in 253 students of a civil aviation university. Results The percentage of abnormal data was 7.11%(18/253). 16 students suffered from high-frequency hearing loss, two suffered from language frequency hearing loss. There was significant difference in abnormal data between grade three and grade four students[(OR=0.5022, 95%CI:1.199~15.078) vs (OR=6.598, 95%CI:1.265~5.747)].There was correlation between age and high-frequency hearing loss. Conclusions With the increase in age, the proportion of the high-frequency hearing loss increases gradually.
