Abstract:Objective To analyze the distribution and drug resistance of common species of pathogens causing urinary tract infections so as to provide guidance for reasonable clinical choice and use of medicine. Methods The clinical data of the patients in this hospital from January 2013 to June 2014 were retrospectively investigated. The distribution and drug resistance of 384 strains of pathogens were analyzed. Results In the 384 strains of bacteria, 65.63% were Gram-negative, 23.44% were Gram-positive and 10.93% were fungi. Most of Gram-positive bacteria were E.coli and Enterococci were dominant among the Gram-positive bacteria. The detection rates of the extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs) producing E.coli were 71.7%. Conclusions The drug resistance of such pathogens is increasing year by year. It is of great significance to analyze the distribution and antibiotic resistance of isolated bacteria in urinary tract infection to control resistant strains.
