Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of spironolactone used in the process of hemodialysis on the cardiovascular function of patients. Methods Betweem January 2017 and January 2018, 98 cases of chronic kidney disease patients were admitted to our hospital, who were randomly divided into the observation group (n=49) and control group (n=49).Maintenance dialysis was adopted in both groups. During dialysis, the control group was given oral placebo, while the observation group was given oral spironolactone. Changes of cardiovascular function and related complications were observed in both groups before and after treatment. Results Three months after treatment, the cardiac function and blood vessel function significantly improved in the observation group. There was statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group after treatment (P<0.05).The incidence of complications during hemodialysis was 4.08%, much lower than 18.37% of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions In the course of hemodialysis, oral spironolactone can improve patients’ cardiovascular function and reduce complications.
