Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in order to provide evidence and reference for clinical prevention and treatment. Methods Strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated and tested for sensitivity in 2018.Results A total of 160 clinical isolates were collected. The main source of the samples was sputum, which accounted for 81.88%. Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections mainly occurred in the Department of Neurosurgery (53 strains), ICU (48 strains) and Department of Respiratory Disease (13 strains). The 160 strains of pseudomonas aeruginosa were mostly susceptible to polymyxin B (susceptible rate 95.0%), but resistant to ticarcillin/clavulanic acid (resistance rate 51.2%).Conclusions Pseudomonas aeruginosa is susceptible to polymyxin B, cefoperazone/sulbactam and amikacin. Drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa should be monitored in order to select the right antibiotics in clinic.
