Simultaneous determination of Notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rf in Shenlong Tongluo pills by HPLC

Abstract:Objective To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of Notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rf in Shenlong Tongluo pills.Methods High performance liquid chromatography was used.Hypersil Hypersil BDS C18(5 μm,4 mm×250 mm) column was selected with acetonitrile-water as the mobile phase for gradient elution.The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 203 nm and the column temperature was set at 35 ℃.Results The linear ranges of Notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rf were 0.198-9.535 μg (r=0.9993) and 0.957-38.392 μg(r=0.9997) respectively.The average recoveries were 99.10%(RSD=1.57%,n=6) and 98.76%(RSD=2.13%,n=6)respectively.Conclusions This HPLC method was accurate,reliable and reproducible,which can contribute to formulating the quality standard of Shenlong Tongluo pills.
