Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of fusidic acid cream combined with adapalene gel in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Methods One hundred and ten cases of acne vulgaris treated in our hospital were divided into a control group and an observation group, 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with adapalene gel alone, while the observation group was treated with fusidic acid cream combined with adapalene gel=. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks, and the number of skin lesions, adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, =, the number of inflammatory skin lesions and non- inflammatory skin lesions in the observation group was significantly less, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups after treatment; 6 months after treatment, the recurrence rate of the observation group was 3.64% (2/55) which was lower than that of the control group 14.55% (8/55), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 05).Conclusions Fusidic acid cream combined with adapalene gel in the treatment of acne vulgaris can improve the skin lesions, with high safety and low recurrence.
