Abstract Objective To detect the expression of Med-19 in colon cancer and the correlation between Med-19 expression and pathologic features. Methods The immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Med-19 in 115 colon cancer samples and their corresponding normal tissues. Results The positive rate of Med-19 expression was significantly higher in colon cancer tissues than in the matched normal tissues( P <0.05). The positive rate of Med-19 expression was higher in Dukes C+D stage and lymph node metastasis colon cancer tissues than in the matched normal tissues ( P <0.05, P <0.01). The expression of Med-19 was not related to age, sex, size, or histological differentiation ( P >0.05). Conclusions Med-19 is over-expressed in colon cancer tissues, which might be closely related to clinical biological behaviors.
