Abstract Objective Tofind out about the distribution of training injuries amongArmed Police soldiers in a cold region of China in order to provide data for precautions. Methods The distribution of training injuries of soldiers during their service in 2017 was observed and described by combining questionnaire surveys with case dataanalysis. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of training injuries during training as recruits, after one year or two years of service (χ2=4.52,P=0.10). During training as recruits, the main type of training injury was acute injury, accounting for 87.30%, and the mainsite of injury was lower limbs. After one year or two years of service, the main types of training injuries were chronic injuries among soldiers for routine missions, accounting for 55.9% and 64.3% respectively, and the mainsiteof injury was waist, followed by knee joints. The incidence of training injuries over two years was much higher among soldiers for routine missions than among those for logistic support (χ2=8.12,P=0.04)、(χ2=14.40,P=0.00). The total rate of injury literacy was only 14.2%.Soldiers who had suffered from training injury were better informed of such injuries than those without training injuries (χ2=347.09,P=0.00). During the one year or two years of service, training injuries mostly occurred in winter, and primarily due to a poorknowledge of training injuries. Conclusions Soldiersare in different psychological states and vulnerable to different training injuries during their service. Health education and timely adjustment of the training content or intensity are necessary, which can reduce the incidence of training injuries.
