Abstract:Objective To study the continuous negative pressure aspiration combined with cografts of allogenic acellular dermal matrix and autogenetic split-thickness skin in treatment of scar in axillary fossa. Methods 38 patients admitted from January 2010 to June 2012 were treated with continuous negative pressure aspiration combined with cografts of allogenic acellular dermal matrix and autogenetic split-thickness skin to deal with the scar in axillary fossa as treatment group.40 cases admitted from the same time were treated with transfer of skin flap as control group. Results All grafts in treatment group survived well, without obvious pigmentation and scar contraction. But the scar hyperplasy was lighter than that in the control group. Conclusions Continuous negative pressure aspiration combined with cografts of allogenic acellular dermal matrix and autogenetic split-thickness skin is a ideal treatment for the scar of axillary fossa.
