Abstract:Objective To investigate the cLinicaI effects of psychoIogicaL nursing intervention on patients with brain glioma. Methods Ninety-two patients with brain glioma treated in this hospital were randomly divided into two group,each group contained 46 patients.The psychological group was given preoperative effective psychological care intervention on the routine basis nursing. The control group was only given routine basis nursing.The data such as GCS,MMSE,SDS,SAS,SF-36 were collected. The patients’ cognitive capacity,mood changes,and quality of life were compared. Results GCS and MMSE scores in the psychological group was better than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant,(P<0.05). HAMD,HAMA,and SF-36 scores were significantly improved after nursing in psychological group.the difference was statistically significant(HAMD:8.2±3.9 vs 11.8±4.7; HAMA: 5.8±2.6 vs 12.1±5.5,P<0.05). Conclusion psychological care can effectively reduce the patients’ negative emotions such as psychological anxiety, tension, fear and others, and can improve the patients’ cooperation with the treatment and the effect of the surgery and stabilize. The patients’ mood,promoe restoration to health;it is worthy in clinical practice.
