Application effect of intervention of enhanced recovery after surgery on improving the recovery quality of patients with pulmonary nodules under day-care surgery

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) on improving the recovery quality of patients with pulmonary nodules under day-care surgery. Methods One hundred and five patients with pulmonary nodules treated in a third-grade class-A hospital in Nanjing were divided into a control group and an observation group according to nursing methods. Patients in the control group received a routine nursing scheme, while patients in the observation group were intervened by a nursing scheme of ERAS. The clinical value of the two groups was evaluated by comparing the basic preoperative data, length of hospital stay, related complications, satisfaction survey and postoperative recovery quality. Results The incidence of moderate and severe wound-pain in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), while the satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). On the 1st day after operation and the 1st, 7th, and 30th day after discharge, the QoR-15 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusions The nursing intervention of ERAS is helpful to improve the recovery quality of patients with pulmonary nodules under day-care surgery, which can alleviate postoperative pain symptoms and improve patients satisfaction.
