Value of FICE combined with gastrin-17 in diagnosis of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions

Abstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of Fuji intelligent chromo-endoscopy (FICE) combined with gastrin-17 (G-17) for early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions. Methods Two hundred and sixty patients admitted to the hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were selected for digestive endoscopy. FICE was used to magnify endoscopy, and the fasting serum G-17 was analyzed by enzyme linkedbent assay (ELISA). Statistical analysis of the efficacy of FICE magnifying endoscopy combined with G-17 in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions. Results Compared with conventional magnifying endoscopy, FICE could improve the image clarity of the morphology and structure of the gastric mucosa and the opening of the glandular canal (P<0.05). Sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of FICE combined with G-17 in diagnosis of early gastric cancer were 91.94%, 98.48%, and 96.92%, higher than FICE (64.52%, 98.99%, and 90.77%). Conclusions FICE magnifying endoscopy combined with G-17 has a higher screening and detection rate for early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions, which is of high clinical value.
