Abstract Objective To measure the somatic function of recruits of Chinese People’s Armed Police Forces after military training. Methods In March 2009,fifteen male recruits who underwent 8 weeks, military training were enrolled in this study randomly. The rectal temperature, heart rate, SpO2, electrocardiogram, and rheoencephalogram were measured before and after 3 km running on a treadmill. Results (1)the rectal temperature at once after running was (38.1±0.4) ℃ on average;(2) the heart rate at once after running was (145±27.6) b/min on average;(3) the SpO2 at once after running was (97.0±1.4) % on average;(4)the sinus bradycardia and the sinus arrhythmia all disappeared at once after running;(5)the average blood flow velocity rose and the pulsated index decreased. The hemodynamics of brain was regular. Conclusions The recruits of Chinese People’s Armed Police Forces after 8 weeks, military training have obtained a fine somatic function. Because of the individual difference in the recruits, scientific training and medical supervision is important.
