Abstract Objective To introduce a fasciocutaneous flap based perforator of posterior tibial artery to repair soft tissue defects in heel.Methods Twenty patients with soft tissue defects in heel were repaired from January 2012 to 2015 with the fasciocutaneous flap based on perforator of posterior tibial artery,located and signed by CDFI before opration,then the fasciocutaneous flap designed based above perforator sign.Results Eighteen flaps were survived completely and the wounds healed by first intention.The flaps were not overstaffsd ,their shape,texture and color were similar to normal.Conclusions The fasciocutaneous flap based perforator of posterior tibial artery is an ideal flap to repair soft tissue defects in heel.
