五官超短波与SSP低频脉冲电刺激联合治疗颞下颌关节紊乱的疗效

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of ultrashort wave combined with low frequency pulse electric stimulus therapy against temporomandibular disorders.Methods Sixty patients with temporomandibular disorders were randomly divided into the observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each. Both groups were treated with ultrashort wave, but the observation group additionally received the SSP low frequency pulse electric stimulus therapy. The symptoms of each patient were evaluated before and after treatment. The curative effect of the two groups was compared by Chi-square test.Results After two courses of treatment, patients in the observation group achieved significantly higher overall effective rates than those in the control group, and the difference was of statistical significance (P<0.05). The values of VAS in both groups were significantly reduced after two courses of treatment (P<0.05),especially in the observation group (P<0.05).Conclusions Ultrashort wave therapy has good effect on temporomandibular disorders, and can improve the curative effect significantly when combined with the low frequency pulse electric stimulus therapy, which is worthy of clinical application.
