Abstract:Objective To investigate the main reason of urinary tract injury in gynecological laparoscopy and to discuss its treatment and prevention. Methods The clinical data of patients in our department who suffered urinary tract injury in laparoscopic operation during Januarary 2005 and December 2012 were reviewed retrospectively. Results There were 6(0.53%) urinary tract injuries among 1120 gynecologic laparoscopies.4 bladder injuries and 1 ureteral injury were treated during the surgery, The other one was cured after one more operation. Conclusion Urinary tract injury is a serious complication of gynecological laparoscopy and should be pay more attention to.The advanced procedures,the correct surgery indications and timely conversion to laparotomy are keys to reduce these injuries,and the right early treatment can improve the prognosis.
