Abstract:Objective To determine the pharmacological effects of blue fox bile. Method Thirty Kunming mice were divided into 5 groups, each group of six. (1)For the blank group, without the liver damage treatment, was fed on distilled water, and harmless soybean oil was injected. (2) For the model group with liver damage, no drugs were given, were completely CCL4 acute liver injury individuals. (3) For positive group with liver damage were fed on liver-protecting, 0.4/kg. (4) For the high dose group with liver damage was fed on high dose of blue fox bile powder, 10 g/kg. (5) For the low dose group with liver damage was fed on the low dose of blue fox bile powder, 5 g/kg. The first study was using TLC method, to determine whether the blue fox bile contained ursodeoxy cholic acid (UDCA). The second study was to determine whether the blue fox bile has a protective effect on CCL4 caused hepatic injury in mice. Results The similarity between blue fox bile and bear bile is about 50%, both with two kinds of material, the same in the four kinds of material. Blue fox UDCA component is contained in bile. After experimental animals were inflicted on injury of the liver by CCL4, AST and ALT in serum concentration significantly increased; the difference between the model group and the blank group was statistically significant. Through pharmacological results and pharmacological slices, it can be seen that CCL4 caused AST, ALT concentration effect acute liver injury can be inhibited in mice. Conclusions Blue fox bile can repair injury of liver cells and has obvious protective effects on the liver.
