Abstract:Objective To study the general state, business content, operation situation as well as the main concerns and needs of the physical examination and health management institutions in CAPF. Methods As a status survey, 45 institutions who conduct the physical examination and health management business were taken as samples from health and medical institutions in CAPF. The survey content included general status, business content, operation situation, as well as concerns and needs in the development. On-site questionnaire and e-mail survey were performed. Once questionnaires were retrieved, some institutions were chosen to do the in-depth interview on the basis of the results in the questionnaire to describe their general status, business content, operation situation as well as the main concerns and needs. Results There were 25 third class institutions and 20 second class and the following institutions in the samples. The average occupied area of these institutions was about (854±129) m2. 25(55.6%) institutions had facilities worthy of 2 million dollars. 31(68.9%) institutions were equipped with the software of physical examination, while 14(31.1%) institutions were equipped with the health management software. 33(73.3%) institutions were equipped with full-time physical examiners. Conclusions The physical examination and health management institutions in CAPF have developed rapidly.
