Abstract:Objective To study the effects of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione on the liver function indexes and the clinical efficacy for the alcoholic hepatitis. Methods 140 patients with alcoholic hepatitis treated in this hospital from January 2014 to December 2014 were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, 70 patients in each group. Both groups were given conventional therapy. And in addition, the control group was given intravenous dripping injection of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate alone, and the study group was given reduced glutathione combined with intravenous dripping injection of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate. Both groups were given one treatment course (4 weeks). The liver function indexes including ALT, AST, GGT and TBIL, and the clinical effect of the treatment were observed and compared. Results After the treatment, the level of the liver function indexes ALT, AST, GGT and TBIL in the study group were significantly better than in the control group(P<0.05). And the effective rate in the study group was 94.29%, obviously higher than the effective rate 81.43% in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05). After the treatment, there was no adverse reaction in the study group. And the incidence of the adverse reaction in the control group was 10%, obviously higher than that in the study group(P<0.05).Conclusions Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione is effective for alcoholic hepatitis, and it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
