Abstract:Objective To make use of coronary CTA to determine the incidence rate of coronary atherosclerosis stenosis for non-diabetic asymptomatic people who have risk factors and evaluate its correlation with risk factors. Methods We recruited non-diabetic asymptomatic people who have high-risk factors (sex, age, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia) and divided them into single high-risk factor group and multiple high-risk factors group. We made statistical processing on the incidence rate of disease for people who had high-risk factors of coronary atherosclerosis. Results Single and multiple high risk factors between groups, the degree of luminal stenosis rate was highest for grade Ⅰ; along with increasing age,the incidence of class Ⅱ, Ⅲ grade luminal stenosis grew.Risk factors and coronary atherosclerosis luminal stenosis >50% compared with the control group, single risk factors and >40 years old and multiple risk factors group, incidence of coronary atherosclerosis luminal stenosis >50% had significant differences from the control group(P=0.0011,P=0.048,P=0.020). single risk factors and <40 years old groups, the incidence of coronary atherosclerosis luminal stenosis >50% had no significant difference from the control group (P=0.6013).Conclusions In asymptomatic non-diabetic population, coronary CTA in the prediction of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease severity provides important information. A large number of clinical data showed that coronary CTA can display plaque number and number of luminal stenosis ≥50%.
