Abstract:Objective To study the TCM syndromes and treatment of diabetic patients with gastric paralysis (DGP).Methods 123 cases with DGP treated in our hospital were selected and randomly and equally divided into treatment group、 control group 1 and the control group 2. Patients in control group 1 received conventional treatment, those in control group 2 underwent targeted TCM syndrome treatment, while those in treatment group were treated with TCM combined with western medicine. Then, the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were observed and compared between the three groups. Results The total effective rate was 97.56% in treatment group, and 95.12% in control group 2, both of which were higher than 73.17% in control group 1.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). However, the difference of the incidence of adverse reactions between the three groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusions TCM treatment of diabetic patients with gastric paralysis emphasizes syndrome differentiation and treatment, which can achieve the intended effect.
