Abstract:Objective To analyze the characteristics of pharmaceutical support in some garrisons on the plateau in order to provide reference for improvement of military medication.Methods The use of pharmaceuticals by inpatients treated by a medical team on the plateau was statistically analyzed and compared with emergency support medication. The characteristics of pharmaceutical support on the plateau were explored.Results According to statistical analysis of pharmaceuticals used by 244 inpatients in 2016 and another 253 ones in 2017, anti-infection drugs, such as cefotaxime sodium and amoxicillin capsules, took the first place, accounting for 28.32% and 24.09% respectively. Drugs used by patients related to gastroenterology, respiration, traumatology and orthopaedics were among the first four. Shuxuening, compound Danshen dripping pills and other cardiovascular drugs were also used. There was some variation in the ranking. Through the three-time analysis of emergency pharmaceutical support, it was found that the structure and proportion of pharmaceuticals were obviously different. During the emergency pharmaceutical support to Jiuzhaigou earthquake, the structure and proportion of pharmaceuticals were modified in line with the needs of rescue troops.Conclusions The emergency military pharmaceutical support is subject to change, so modular pharmaceutical support can better meet the demand of tasks.
