Short-term curative effect of loading dose of aspirin and clopidogrel and low molecular weight heparin on frequent transient ischemic attack

Abstract：Objective To investigate the short-term curative effect and safety of a loading dose of aspirin and clopidogrel and low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)on frequent transient ischemic attack (TIA) . Methods Ninety-six patients with TIA were randomly divided into two groups: the control group treated with aspirin and clopidogrel and treatment group treated with a loading dose of aspirin, clopidogrel and LMWH.The clinical effects were analyzed in both groups after one week.Results The total effective rate was 91.67% in the treatment group,which was highter than that in the control group (70.83%) (P<0.01, but there was no significant difference between the two groups in the incidence of intractable hemorrhage or gastrointestinal hemorrhage.There was also no significant difference in mucocutaneous hemorrhage or gingi-val hemorrhage between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions A loading dose of aspirin and clopidogrel and LMWH therapy is effective and safe for frequent TIA.
