Application of analytic hierarchy process in evaluation index system for emergency medicine service in an Armed Police Forces hospital |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application of analytic hierarchy process in evaluation index system for emergency medicine service in an Armed Police Forces hospital. Methods By using the analytic hierarchy process, on the basis of hierarchical relationship, we constructed judgment matrix and invited experts to score the importance of evaluation index. And we calculated the weights of different evaluation indexes, did the consistency test for judgment matrix. By this means, we determined the weights of different indexes in the evaluation system at all levels for emergency medicine service in an Armed Police Forces hospital. Results We obtained 4 primary indexes and 14 secondary indexes and final weights of different level indexes of the evaluation index system for emergency medicine service in an Armed Police Forces hospital. Conclusions The analytic hierarchy process is convenient, feasible, simple and practical for determination of the weights coefficient in evaluation index system for emergency medicine service in an Armed Police Forces hospital.
