Investigation and analysis of social support and coping style in recruits with various backgrounds

Abstract:Objective To study the differences in social support and coping style among recruits with various backgrounds. Methods All kinds of measures were used, for example, SSRS, SCSQ, ex. by psychology consultant to carry out exams among 400 CAPF recraits. Results Concerning the dimension of social support and solutions, clear differences exist according to their educational level. Clear differences exist among recruits according to their former jobs. Clear differences exist among recruits according to their families’ incomes. Conclusion Those who received higher education are more self-confident, choose reaction manners to solve problem. The recruits from medium family income look for help to solve problem actively and their living manner is more active.
