Abstract:Disaster rescue has become a major non-war military task for PAPF. Soldiers may develop stress reactions, and even stress-related disorders under unexpected risk and hard rescue tasks. Psychological intervention as a protective factor plays a vital professional role in the prevention and treatment of stress-related disorders. Depending on the literature and practical experiences of psychological rescue, we developed a comprehensive psychological intervention model of “two combinations and three stages”. The “two combinations” refers to combining preventive with reactive interventions, and combining therapeutic with educational interventions. The “three stages” refers to before, amidst, and after rescue tasks. The aims, contents, and methods in the each intervention stage have been discussed.
