Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of antifungal drugs supporter on fungal otitis externa. Methods Eighty-five patients with fungal otitis externa who were admitted to the hospital from January 2017 to December 2020 were randomly divided into two groups (treatment group and control group). The control group were applied with antifungal ointment by the patients themselves, while the treatment group were treated with antifungal drugs supporter. The curative effect was compared 2 weeks later and the recurrence rate was surveyed 6 months later. Results The total effective rates in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (95.23% vs. 55.81%), and there was significant difference (P<0.05). The recurrence rate in the treatment group were lower than that in the control group (2.50% vs. 29.17%), and there was also significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusions The clinical effect of antifungal drugs supporter which is clear in the treatment of fungal otitis externa is worthy of clinical application.
