Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Nd:YAG1064nm picosecond laser on horizontal neck lines. Methods A total of 10 patients with horizontal neck lines were treated with picoway laser 1064 nm fractional handpiece. All patients were treated for 3 times with 4 weeks intervals. After 4 weeks of all the treatment, Allergan transverse neck lines scale, and global aesthetic improvement scale(GAIS) were evaluated by physicians, and self-assessment of satisfaction and adverse effects were also collected. Results The scores of Allergan transverse neck lines scale declined from (2.80±0.79) to (1.70±0.82) after 4 weeks of all the treatment. The results showed that horizontal neck lines were improved and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the patients was 90%. Adverse events included mild pain, erythema and pruritus, which subsided in a short time. Conclusions Nd:YAG1064nm picosecond laser is safe and effective in the treatment of horizontal neck lines.
