Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of “Internet +” extension therapy combined with exercise prescription on rehabilitation of cerebral infarction patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 90 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia who were hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of Characteristics Medical Center of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and divided into three groups according to the wishes of patients and their families: exercise prescription group, “Internet +” extension treatment group, and combined treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. Fugl-Meyer Motor function score (FMA) and Barthel index were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect at discharge, 6 months, and 12 months, respectively. Results There was no significant difference in Barthel index or Fugl-Meyer motor function score among the three groups at discharge. At 6 months after discharge, the combined treatment group had a higher score than the other two groups, but the difference was not statistically significant. At 12 months after discharge, Barthel index was (71.17±8.48), and the Fugl-Meyer motor function score was (76.80±6.97), which were significantly higher than those in the other two groups, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Exercise prescription combined with “Internet +” extension therapy can significantly improve the motor function and the life quality of patients with hemiplegia caused by cerebral infarction, and the long-term effect is significant.
