Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of oral simethone emulsion and glycerin enema cleaning enema on peritoneal approach laparoscopic pyeloplasty in infants. Methods From June 2020 to June 2021, 80 infants with ureteropelvic junction obstruction treated by peritoneal approach laparoscopic pyeloplasty were selected as the research subjects, and were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was routinely given glycerin enema cleaning enema before surgery, and the experimental group was given glycerin enema cleaning enema while taking simethone emulsion orally before surgery. The operative time, number of percutaneous intestinal gas extraction, number of auxiliary holes, first postoperative exhaust time and postoperative feeding time were compared between the two groups. Results Group of children in surgical operation time [(2.1±0.3) h] than the control group [(2.8±0.2) h] shortened, was integrated by skin biopsy insufflate extraction times [(2.3±0.8) times]than the control group [(5.1±1.1) times] is reduced,The first postoperative exhaust time [(1.05±0.23)d] was shorter than that of the control group [(2.75±0.93)d], and the postoperative feeding time [(3.17±0.74)d] was shorter than that of the control group [(4.31±0.95)d], with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The number of auxiliary pores in experimental group (0.55±0.39) was less than that in control group (1.15±0.73), and the incidence of postoperative gastrointestinal complications (7.5%) was lower than that in control group (22.5%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Glycerin enema combined with oral simethone emulsion can make the intestinal tract constricted, which is convenient for operation and safe for infants undergoing peritoneal approach laparoscopic pyeloplasty.
