互联网情境下的创业行动、信息获取和新创绩效 ——来自苹果应用商店的证据

Entrepreneurial Action, Information Acquisition and New Venture Performance in the Internet Context ——Evidence from Apple Application Platform

摘要: 行业转型和大数据驱动的创业环境使得信息这一机会要素在创业实践中变得越来越重要。以往研究大多关注信息因素对创业行动的影响,却较少关注特定情境下创业行动对信息的作用。基于苹果应用商店这一重要平台来收集创业者的行为数据,试图研究互联网情境下两类创业行动(快速行动和多重改进)、信息获取和新创企业绩效之间关系。研究结果表明快速行动和多重改进均促进了信息获取,并且信息获取在两类行动和新创企业绩效之间起中介作用。

Abstract: Industry restructuring and big-data-driven environment are making information increasingly important in entrepreneurial practice. Previous studies are more concerning the impact of information on entrepreneurial action, but rarely to reverse process of entrepreneurial action on the information acquisition under specific situations. Using the secondary date from the Apple App store which is an important entrepreneurial platform, this article tries to explore the relationship between the two types of entrepreneurial actions (swift actions and multiple improvement actions) and the enterprise’s performance through information acquisition, thus reveals the importance of information under the Internet circumstances and the mechanism between entrepreneurial actions and enterprise’s performance. Results show that two types of entrepreneurial actions both have positive effects on entrepreneurs’ information acquisition, which then improve the new venture performance.
