Abstract: Theoretical innovation is the unique quality of Marxism. the British left-wing scientists fruitfully introduced it into the field of scientific research, and created a new theory—Bernalism in the 1930s and 1940s. Bernalism laid Marxist scientific ideas on the theoretical foundation of Sociology of Science, Science of Science and History of Science etc, even so far. Therefore, the study of Bernalism could show the strong vitality of theoretical innovation of Marxism, also enhance people philosophically to reflect on contemporary science and technology with the Marxist view of science.

摘要： 理论创新是马克思主义的特有品质。20世纪30—40年代，英国左派科学家卓有成效地将马克思主义这一特有品质引入到科学研究领域，创造出新的理论成果——贝尔纳主义。贝尔纳主义作为马克思主义科学观的创新理论，奠定了马克思主义科学思想成为科学学、科学社会学和科学史等一些科学学科的基础理论之一，影响至今。因此,对贝尔纳主义的研究，不仅能够显示出马克思主义理论创新的旺盛生命力，而且能够增强人们用马克思主义科学观对当代科学技术的哲学反思。
