创新驱动与产业升级——基于我国省际面板数据的空间计量检验

Innovation Driving and Industrial Upgrading: The Spatial Econometric Analysis Based on China's Provincial Panel Data

摘要: 基于我国2003—2012年的省际面板数据,以同时考虑了地理距离因素和信息化水平因素的方法设定空间权重矩阵,利用空间误差模型分析了地区创新与我国产业升级的关系。结果表明,地区创新对产业升级的促进作用不仅显著而且具有稳健性,此外,空间溢出效应也是我国地区产业升级不可忽略的重要影响因素。在此基础上,从自主创新能力的提升和信息化水平的提高两方面提出了相应的对策建议。

Abstract: Based on China's provincial panel data from 2003 to 2012, with the spatial weight matrix which includes both geographical distance and informatization level factors, this paper takes advantage of Spatial Error Model to test the relationship between regional innovation and industrial upgrading. The results show that the positive effect of regional innovation on the industrial upgrading is significant and robust. In addition, the spatial spillover effect is also an important factor that cannot be ignored for industrial upgrading. And on this basis, we also make corresponding policy recommendations from the aspects of improvement of independent innovation ability and informatization level.
