区际产业转移对中国出口技术复杂度的影响

The Impact of Inter-regional Industrial Transfer on the Technological Complexity of China's Export:based on Provincial Spatial Panel Model

摘要: 提高出口技术复杂度是中国外贸和经济实现高质量发展的重要方向。本文在控制其他传统变量的情况下,重点研究了区际产业转移对中国出口技术复杂度的影响机理,并利用2003~2017年数据和省级空间面板模型对其进行实证评估。结论显示,一省的出口技术复杂度不仅受到本地区区际产业转移的影响,而且还受到相邻地区区际产业转移的影响,表现为本地区的产业转入对出口技术复杂度产生显著的促进作用,相邻地区的产业转入对其产生显著的抑制作用。此外,本地区及相邻地区的研发投入和外商直接投资、相邻地区的基础设施改善有助于提升本地区的出口技术复杂度。

Abstract: Improving the technological complexity of export is an important direction for China's foreign trade and economy to achieve high-quality development. Under controlling traditional variables, this paper focuses on the impact mechanism of inter-regional industrial transfer on the technological complexity of China's export, and makes an empirical evaluation using the Provincial Spatial Panel Model and data during the period from 2003 to 2017. The conclusion shows that the export technology complexity of a province is not only affected by its regional industrial transfer, but also by the regional industrial transfer of adjacent areas, which shows that the region industrial transfer is a significant promoting effect on the export technology complexity, but the industrial transfer of adjacent areas has a significant restraint on it. In addition,R&D and FDI in this region and its adjacent areas, as well as infrastructure improvement in the adjacent areas help to increase the technological complexity of export in the region.2017. The conclusion shows that the export technology complexity of a province is not only affected by its regional industrial transfer, but also by the regional industrial transfer of adjacent areas, which shows that the industrial transfer of the region has a significant promoting effect on the export technology complexity, but the industrial transfer of adjacent areas has a significant restraint on it. In addition, R&D investment and FDI in this region and its adjacent areas, and infrastructure improvement in the adjacent areas help to increase the technological complexity of export in the region.
